Navigation Indian Constellation (NAVIC) – formerly also known as The Indian Regional Navigational Satellite System (IRNSS) – is a satellite navigation system, similar to GPS or GLONASS – but its coverage is limited to India. It is developed by ISRO and under complete control of the Indian government.

The system consists of 7 satellites – 3 satellites in a geostationary orbit over India and 4 satellites in sun-synchronous orbit

The target accuracy of the system is 10 meters throughout the Indian landmass and 20 meters in regions around the country,
